A dog was dumped at a North Carolina animal shelter after his owners saw him humping another male dog and said he was gay. According to the ASPCA, mounting or thrusting can be part of normal play behavior for pets and not necessarily a sign of their sexuality.

The 50-pound dog, Fezco, is currently at the Stanly County Animal Protective Services shelter east of Charlotte, and the shelter is asking for volunteers to house Fezco until he’s adopted. The shelter says he’s friendly and likes other people and animals.
