“Gay” Dog Abandoned At NC Shelter Has A New Home

A dog abandoned at a North Carolina shelter for being “gay” now has a new home.

Fezco was ditched because he was being too “clingy” to another male dog, as we told you. It’s natural behavior, but his owners didn’t know that. The story has a happy ending thanks to one couple.

Steve Nichols and his longtime partner John immediately went to the shelter after hearing the story and the couple have adopted Fezco, who they’ve renamed Oscar. They named him after the Irish poet and playwright Oscar Wilde, who was also gay.

Steve says Oscar wasn’t well taken care of by his previous owners. He wasn’t neutered and has heartworms. Luckily, they’ve taken him to the vet and planned and gave Oscar the care he deserves.
