Will Smith is apologizing to Chris Rock for slapping him at Sunday's Oscars ceremony.
In a post on Instagram, Smith said, "My behavior at last night's Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable."
He went on to say that jokes made about him are part of his job, but he reacted emotionally to the joke Rock made about Smith's wife, Jada. Smith added he'd like to publicly apologize to Rock and that he is embarrassed.
He ended his post by saying, "I am a work in progress."
