Brittany Mateiro was flying from Newark to Phoenix to attend a bachelorette party in early March when she suffered a cardiac episode mid-flight.
Dr. Kashif Chaudhry and his wife Dr. Naila Shereen were on the same flight and rushed to help Mateiro, with Chaudhry performing CPR and resuscitating the 28-year-old woman.
The plane was diverted to the nearest airport, Oklahoma City, where Mateiro was taken to the hospital and released a few hours later, seemingly in good health.
