A story went viral two weeks ago of a singer in Brazil who wound up in the hospital after not passing gas for years to avoid doing it in front of her boyfriend, and now it’s happened again. 19-year-old Cara Clarke of Ireland refused to fart around her boyfriend for two years and caused her appendix to burst.
The woman had her appendix removed at the hospital and is fine. Her 21-year-old boyfriend, Kyle Duffy, was reportedly “dying laughing” at the situation, and her doctor posted a reaction video to her post on TikTok about the problem outlining why you should never hold in your farts.
