Lady Gaga Hit With Stuffed Animal At Toronto “Chromatica Ball”

Lady Gaga fans seemed to think she had an invisible shield around her “Chromatica Ball” stage after it appeared that someone threw something on stage and it bounced back without ever coming near Gaga. Well, that theory was just debunked at her concert in Toronto.

Video circulating on social media shows a fan at her Toronto show throwing a stuffed animal on stage and it grazing Gaga’s head. The singer was in the middle of singing her “Top Gun: Maverick” track “Hold My Hand,” and the projectile, which Stereogum identified as a Dr. Simi doll, didn’t seem to affect her at all.

Although Stereogum notes that it’s a tradition in Mexico to throw the Simi doll at performers, folks online were not having it.

“How do some fans think this is okay… this is so dangerous and sad,” one person tweeted, while another added, “This not only is dangerous to Gaga, but items may also catch on fire in the jets as well and cause damage.”
