A group of six high school football players from Rome, Georgia, witnessed a major car crash across from their school and rushed to rescue one of the drivers.
The teammates risked their own safety to pry open the car door, pulled a 50-year-old woman from the wreckage, and comforted her until first responders arrived.
After watching surveillance footage of the incident, Rome High School coach John Reid said he was proud of his players’ courageous and selfless act.
