Tiger Woods is set to meet with some of the world's top golfers today to rally support for the PGA Tour.
The meeting ahead of the BMW Championship in Wilmington, Delaware will focus on supporting the Tour in its battle against the LIV Golf Series.
The meeting is expected to include many of the top 20 players in the world and a handful of other players who haven't defected to the LIV Series.
Woods has been highly critical of the Saudi Arabia-backed series headed by two-time Majors champion Greg Norman. The series offers players guarantees of 100- to 200 million dollars.
In an interview earlier this month, Norman confirmed that Woods, a 15-time Majors champion, turned down a 700 to 800-million dollar offer to join the LIV Series.
