Michigan Boy Rescued From Rushing Water In Dam

Michigan police and an off-duty firefighter save a ten-year-old boy from the swift-moving waters near the Four Mile Dam in Alpena, Michigan.

Trooper Nicholas Talbot tossed a floatation device on a long line out to the boy while off-duty Wilson Township firefighter Christopher Kinsey stood downstream from the dam.

The boy caught the floatation device, but wouldn’t let go of the dam, so Kinsey swam to him and pulled him to shore, where he was checked out by paramedics before being sent home.
