Strangers Step Up To Help Uvalde Teachers, Students Go Back To School

There’s a national grassroots effort to help students and teachers in Uvalde, especially those from Robb Elementary, where 19 students and two teachers were killed in a shooting earlier this year.

Several different campaigns are seeking donations of money and supplies to stock classrooms, fulfill teachers’ wishlists, and provide resources to Uvalde schools.

One organizer working to fulfill Uvalde teachers' wish lists says it’s important for the Uvalde community to know they are not forgotten.
