Travis Snyder first began his search for a bone marrow donor after being diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia back in 2015 and his friend Jason Momoa insisted on helping.
Momoa posted on Instagram sharing Snyder’s story and urging people to register to be a bone marrow donor, a process that’s as simple as swabbing your cheek.
Donating bone marrow is similar to donating blood and Snyder calls it a minor inconvenience that could mean everything to someone and their family.
