In the years since U.S. Army veteran Ervin Mulkey lost the use of his legs serving in Desert Storm, he has found wheelchair sports to have had a big impact on his well-being.
So he wasn’t surprised when the Paralyzed Veterans of America invited him to speak about the positive impact that wheelchair sports has had on his life.
But the invitation was just a ploy and he was really there to be gifted a brand new $15-thousand all-terrain wheelchair, which will allow him to enjoy more outdoor activities.
