An estimated 20,000 people are expected to gather in the downtown area tomorrow for the 2022 Akron Pride Festival.
Allies and members of the LGBTQ+ community will spectate and participate in events along South Main Street and at Lock 3 Park, Lock 4 and Cascade Plaza.
Tomorrow morning's Akron Equity March will be followed by the all-day festival running from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. and conclude with a fireworks show.
