Adele broke down crying at her show recently when she realized what a fan was showing her from the audience. The “Someone Like You” singer stopped down at The Colosseum At Caesars Palace show to acknowledge a man holding his phone high up in the air. She then told the audience that it had just hit her that the fan was holding up a picture of his wife who had passed away.

The 34-year-old singer said, “There was a man, he's just there, holding his phone up. I think that's his wife on the phone, and I don't think she's here, and it just really moved me.” Adele then offered her condolences, saying, “I'm so sorry for your loss, and I didn't realize what you were showing me until I was over here.”

Her five-month residency will end on March 25th.
