There's a report that the curtain might come down in spectacular fashion for "Yellowstone," TV's top-rated drama.

Deadline reports co-creator and showrunner Taylor Sheridan and Paramount are moving to end the show with Oscar-winner Kevin Costner at the center of the saga of the cattle-ranching Dutton family.

The network and producers reportedly are in talks with Oscar-winner Matthew McConaughey to star in a potential extension of the franchise.

Deadline reports Sheridan is frustrated with Costner for wanting to spend fewer and fewer days shooting in Montana, including only a week on the second batch of episodes for "Yellowstone's" current fifth season.
