Ed Sheeran was there to lend a helping hand when his pal Courtney Cox decided to remake a scene from “Dirty Dancing” …sort of. Cox and her boyfriend Johnny McDaid can be seen in their latest Insta video snuggled up on the couch watching the ending of “Dirty Dancing” where Jennifer Grey does her big lift with Patrick Swayze. Cox then turns to her man and asks if he wants to recreate that mega-moment with her. “Sure,” he replies.
Cut to the backyard where Sheeran and another man lift Courtney up and carry her to the middle of the backyard where she prepares for her big jump into Johnny’s arms, who is supposed to lift her high in the sky…
The video, however, shows Johnny running toward Courtney who does not catch him. Instead, we are left to assume he’s fallen and hurt himself when the screen cuts to an ambulance speeding off, complete with lights and sirens!
