Last week, Jason Boudreaux was checking out at a New Iberia, Louisiana, grocery store when the cashier told him he had “insufficient funds” and a stranger offered to pay for him.
In a now-viral social media post, Boudreaux shared the story and asked for help identifying the kind stranger, soon learning that it was Kevin Jones, who’s also from New Iberia.
Boudreaux discovered it was his new friend’s birthday, so he reached out to him and both men and their families got together to celebrate the birthday and their new friendship.
