Russia is working to strengthen ties to Americans in media and politics to influence U.S. elections.
That's according to a new report from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
The assessment of worldwide threats to U.S. national security said Russia conducted malign influence operations in the 2022 midterm elections and will "almost certainly" continue to do so.
This comes ahead of the presidential election in 2024.
The report says that Russians are posing as Americans on social media to stoke division.
