While dining with his family at a restaurant in Omaha, Nebraska, singer/songwriter Jason Derulo surprised his waiter with a $5,000 tip on an $800 tab.
The waiter, Jordan Schaffer, shared a video of the moment on TikTok and thanks the “Whatcha Say” singer for paying for a semester of college for him.
Derulo then reposted the video on his TikTok, where it was viewed by more than 1.6 million and received thousands of comments from fans praising the kind act.
