While on jury duty at the Arapahoe County Courthouse in Littleton, Colorado, 69-year-old Shirley Bennet suffered a heart attack and collapsed.
Fortunately, she was quickly attended to by several well-trained deputies who performed CPR on her for nearly 10 minutes until paramedics arrived and took over.
Last week, Bennet, who’s fully recovered from the episode thanks to the early intervention, returned to the courthouse to thank the first responders who saved her life.
