The four day work week idea is picking up steam.

California representative Mark Takano has introduced a bill for it that will give Americans more time "to live, play, and enjoy life more fully outside of work."

His proposal drops the work week to 32 hours from 40, and would require overtime pay at a rate of time and a half for any employee who works more than 32 hours in one week.

We’ll have to wait and see, but the move is bolstered by a current UK study.

70 companies are testing the four-day work week and have seen no drop in productivity.

Takano’s bill isn’t likely to pass, but it’s a step forward.
