VR “Death Simulator” Supposedly Shows What Happens When You Die

An artist has developed an immersive simulator that supposedly lets you experience what it’s like to die…if you want to know. Shaun Gladwell’s simulator takes people through cardiac arrest to brain death, and then features an out-of-body experience that allows participants to look down on their “dead bodies.”

TikToker croom12 went through the “Passing Electrical Storms” experience in Australia and says that it could give people anxiety. Luckily, you can quit the simulator at any time if it gets to be too much to handle.
