For those who don’t know, the main idea behind a protection order is to keep someone from going near another person who clearly doesn’t want them around.
In St. Louis, James D. Clump, Jr. didn’t seem to get that message.
On Saturday, cops say they’d been called to look into the violation of a protection order.
While at the scene of the incident, police learned that Clump hadn’t yet been served with that order…so they served it on the spot.
Just 40 minutes later, Clump alleged violated that order when he went out of his way to cuss out the person who asked for the order against him…and sent her threatening texts.
Crump was later found “in the area” of the victim’s home and was arrested for allegedly violating the order.
