On Friday, March 31st, two-year-old Waylon Loftis went missing from his family’s Tecumseh, Missouri, home and over a hundred volunteers showed up to search for him.
Jonathan Belt from nearby Bakersfield didn’t know the family, but the military vet and paramedic brought his unique skill set to the search and found Waylon just before sundown.
Waylon’s mom, Marinda Loftis, was thankful to have her son home safe and unharmed and says she can never repay Belt for finding him and is calling him a hero.
