We’ve all played Monopoly with someone who’s way too competitive for their own good.
In the case of this story, the players chose the wrong venue to enjoy the game around.
In Brussels over the weekend, at 5 am on Sunday morning, a group of four was playing the game “on the pavement in front of a house.”
The owner of the house found the noise they were making during the game to be disturbing, and an argument ensued.
That’s when the homeowner’s son came out to save the day…with a samurai sword. During the “melee,” the case of the katana sword was damaged, the blade was exposed, and the son and one of the Monopoly gamers were injured…and required a hospital visit.
In fact, the son’s injury was to one of his arteries, and he’s currently in a “life-threatening condition.”
