Monét X Change is detailing the impact of one of the most beloved TV series of her generation.

The RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars winner joined Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang on the February 25 episode of their Las Culturistas podcast for a wide-ranging chat about everything from Final Fantasy X and her "dream" Broadway role that "needs to happen" to the romantic story of her fiancé learning to sing for his big proposal.

During their conversation, Monét also explained why That's So Raven is "unequivocally" the moment that solidified her love of pop culture and how important the iconic Disney Channel series was for the time.

"That's So Raven — the way that that show was literally a cultural reset was dope," Monét said. "In that same era, we had Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Lizzie McGuire, Hannah Montana, all of those things. It was the first Black girl-led sitcom, and she was a little thicker and Raven [Symoné] was allowed to be funny, crazy. Her physical comedy was unmatched!"

Monét compared Raven's performance as Raven Baxter, specifically all of the different characters she would portray on screen, to the hit series Martin and legendary performers like Eddie Murphy and Jamie Foxx. However, her talent went back even further than her time at Disney, all the way to when she starred on The Cosby Show as a child.

"Raven has always been on the cutting edge of these sitcom/TV show space, ushering in this new era and normalizing the experience of Black folks living and being stars," Monét said. "That's So Raven was that for me."
