Olivia Newton John Releases Posthumous Album Featuring Mariah Carey

The estate of Olivia Newton-John has released her latest and last album posthumously.

It’s called “Just the Two of Us – The Duets Collection Volume One” and it was recorded just before her death last August. The album features duets with hitmakers like Maria Carey, Dolly Parton, John Travolta, Richard Marx, Paul Anka, David Foster, John Secada, and Barry Gibb.

The track with Carey holds special sentimental value as the two singers duet the “Grease” hit “Hopelessly Devoted To You”. Carey admitted in a press release, “I dressed up as Bad Sandy for Halloween in 5th grade and thought I was everything.” She added, “Years later, THE Olivia Newton-John walked out onto my stage in Melbourne, Australia and we sang our hearts out together to ‘Hopelessly Devoted to You.’ This is a moment I will never ever forget.”

Newton-John passed away last August at 73 years old after battling metastatic breast cancer for 30 years.
