On the par-five seventh hole at the Wells Fargo Championship in Charlotte on Saturday, golfer Rickie Fowler didn’t get a birdie, but he did get a snake.
Fowler’s tee shot went toward water on the side of the fairway, and when he went looking for it he found a snake that he hooked with his club.
The snake slithered safely away, Fowler went par on the hole and had one heck of a story to tell in the clubhouse.
