Popular YouTuber and philanthropist MrBeast helped 1,000 deaf people to be able to hear by giving away cutting-edge hearing technology worth over $3,000,000 million. The YouTube star known for his expensive stunts and over-the-top giveaways helped people not just in the U.S. but he also traveled to Mexico, Guatemala, Brazil, South Africa, Malawi, and Indonesia. Along with the hearing devices, MrBeast also gave several of the recipients $10,000 each, with one recipient receiving $12,000, $1,000 for each of his 12 grandkids.
Earlier this week, MrBeast posted a video to his channel showing the touching reactions of many of the 1,000 recipients and their loved ones when they had their hearing tech first turned on. One older couple mentioned wanting to buy a jet ski, so in true MrBeast fashion, he went out and bought them one. Another of the younger patients got a set of custom pink hearing aids and was treated to a shopping spree at Target's toy aisle.
In addition to the generous cash gifts he handed out, MrBeast also gave out gifts specially selected for the recipients like Taylor Swift concert tickets, sports event tickets, and other exciting items. On his journey helping hearing-impaired people around the world, MrBeast learned how important sign language skills could be, so he also donated $100,000 to organizations around the world that teach sign language. The video has already been viewed nearly 40-million times and has gotten over 120-thousand comments from people praising MrBeast and his crew for their generosity.
