Some political experts are saying that “Senator Oprah” may happen.
California Governor Gavin Newsome has pledged to appoint a black woman to replace Sen. Diane Feinstein if she’s unable to finish her term, and with the two women considered to be the front-runners for an appointment most likely unable to accept, one name reportedly keeps coming up in political circles in California…Oprah Winfrey.
Oprah’s previously teased the idea of running for president one day, so it’s not out of the question.
