We’re used to Kelly Clarkson doing the unexpected.
But, now she’s teamed with Steve Martin (on banjo) for the new single “I Hate Love.”
Kelly got the idea to bring in the “Only Murders In The Building” star thanks to the line “I hate love in the Notebook light/ It’s complicated is more like what happened, so you can keep Gosling and I’ll keep Steve Martin.”
One call brought Martin to the table and the result is impressive.
The song was dropped yesterday and it’s part of her breakup cleansing album “Chemistry.”
Clarkson says about the collab with the icon “The amazing banjo skills you hear on this is brought to you by the one and only Steve Martin! I’d choose Martin over Gosling every time y’all!” Sorry, Ryan!
