Whoopi Goldberg says she wants to take over for Pat Sajak as host of "Wheel of Fortune."
Goldberg made the comment Tuesday on "The View" during an interview with "Jeopardy!" star Ken Jennings.
"View" co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin spoke with Jennings about Sajak's retirement announcement, and asked who he thought should replace him.
That's when Goldberg jumped in and said, "I want the job," and added, "I think it would be fun."
Pat Sajak announced Monday that he was stepping down from "Wheel of Fortune" after 41 years as host of the syndicated game show.
