Woman Leaves Mansion And Inheritance To Cats

A woman in Tampa, Florida has promised to take care of her cats, even after she’s gone. Nancy Sauer passed recently at the age of 84 and stipulated in her will that a “substantial” amount of her inheritance should go to her seven cats. What’s more, Sauer also requested that her $2.5 million house cannot be sold until all the cats living there have passed.

However, after four months of having the run of an empty home, the executive director of the Humane Society of Tampa Bay stepped in saying, “Cats shouldn’t be left by themselves in a big house. I am going to personally make sure that we can keep as many together as we can and that they go to the perfect house.” Meanwhile, whoever takes the felines won’t be left empty-handed. Caring for Cleopatra, Goldfinger, Leo, Midnight, Napoleon, Snowball and Squeaky comes with enough cash to take care of them for the rest of their lives.
