We recently brought you the scoop on the demands Christine Baumgartner, the soon-to-be-ex-wife of Kevin Costner, is making during their divorce proceedings. But the “Yellowstone” star is giving in lightly, even bashing Baumgartner in public.
Costner has unleashed his accountant, who says Baumgartner’s request for $248,000 per month is unreasonable. He and the acting superstar point to charges like $100,000 in cosmetic surgery, shopping sprees, and other charges that Costner’s team says should not be lumped in with child support.
Instead of giving in to his ex’s demands, reps for the actor- who has reportedly continued to pay for his children during this process- have proposed a different sum: $51,940 per month. They say it’s more in line with appropriate childcare costs. Stay tuned as the drama continues to unfold.
