Police in Essex, England responded to a call about a screaming woman in an apartment complex and got a surprise.
Cops knocked on Steve Wood’s door and then began to laugh. It turns out the “screaming woman” was one of Wood’s 22 parrots.
The pet owner told BBC Essex "I thought, 'Oh my god, what have I done?' I opened the door to two laughing police officers and they said, 'Don't worry mate, I think we've got this one sussed.'"
The source of the screams was 3-year-old Freddie, who’s been quite vocal lately.
Woods admits that he’s stunned that police haven’t been knocking on his door more.
