Ed Sheeran Hands Out Hot Dogs To Chicago Fans

Ed Sheeran is back with another pop-up appearance! This latest appearance had him slingin’ hot dogs at Chicago’s famous – and infamous – Wieners Circle. The singer stopped by the stand before his Saturday night performance to hurl food and insults at excited fans.

The restaurant, which is famous for berating customers while serving up ‘dogs, kicked off the event with an employee yelling, “We’re gonna have Ed Sheeran here at the mother***** Wieners Circle, and I’m gonna teach that wanker how to make a f***ing hot dog.” A post made by the Wieners Circle followed up, saying, “Our newest trainee, a British lad by the name of Ed Sheeran, has a lot to learn, but he apparently has quite a following #edsheeran @teddysphotos.” Even when the insults were directed towards Sheeran, he took the whole thing in stride, laughing and smiling the whole time.

Meanwhile, the “Thinking Out Loud” singer left another attendance record breaker in his wake, tweeting that Soldier Field topped out their stadium with 73,000 people. *Just to put this in perspective, Sheeran beat out Taylor Swift and Beyoncé, who both performed at the venue just a few weeks earlier.
