Nickelodeon To Air First-Ever Alternate Super Bowl Telecast

The NFL and Nickelodeon will make Super Bowl history next year.

The popular family and kids cable network will host the first-ever alternate telecast of the Super Bowl on February 11th.

The broadcast will be filled with special on-field graphics and guest reporters aimed at children and families.

CBS Sports and Nickelodeon won two Sports Emmys for their previous alternate broadcasts during the NFL's Super Wild Card Weekend last season.

Nickelodeon will also air the "Nickelodeon NFL Nickmas Game" between the Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas Day.
