Bucs Name Bruce Arians Head Coach

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are bringing Bruce Arians out of retirement.

The Bucs have named Arians the 12th head coach in franchise history.

It's a four-year deal that includes a fifth-year team option.

Arians returns to the sidelines after taking just one year off from coaching.

The 66-year-old spent 2018 as a color commentator for CBS after coaching the Arizona Cardinals the previous five years.

Arians replaces Dirk Koetter, who was fired after three seasons in Tampa.

He takes over a Bucs team that hasn't made the playoffs since 2007.

Tampa finished 5-and-11 for the second straight year.
