Indians Walk-Off Against Red Sox With Home Run In The Ninth

Carlos Santana hit a home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to send the Cleveland Indians to a 6-5 victory over the Boston Red Sox.

Tied at five going into the ninth, Santana led off the inning and ended the game with a line-drive shot to center field.

With the Minnesota Twins idle, the win propelled the Tribe into first place in the American League Central.

Cleveland will look to keep the winning momentum going tonight when they face the Red Sox again at Progressive Field.
