Alex Rodriguez has learned the hard way not to leave valuables in his car.
Thieves in San Francisco got away with about half a million dollarsworth of jewelry and electronics while he was in town for the Giants-Phillies game Sunday night.
According to police sources, the culprits got away with a camera, a laptop, miscellaneous jewelry, and a bag.
The soon-to-be Mr.Jennifer Lopez and his ESPN colleagues were having dinner when the incident occurred. Burglary investigators collected evidence overnight and the department has made the case a high priority.
“It’s an unfortunate situation,” ESPN officials said in a statement. “We are working with local authorities to address it.” So far, A-Rod hasn’t addressed the situation.
