Pens' Malkin Out With Undisclosed Injury

Evgeni Malkin left Saturday's win over the Blue Jackets in the second period and did not return after colliding with Kris Letang and falling awkwardly into the boards.

He is out with what is being described as an "undisclosed injury." The 2012 NHL MVP, Malkin had 21 goals and 51 assists last season.

He had a power-play goal in the Pens' season-opening loss to the Sabres on Thursday.
