General Motors, LG To Setup Electric Battery Venture In Lordstown

General Motors and LG Chem are working to bring jobs back to Lordstown.

Both companies say they'll be investing 2.3-billion dollars to build an electronic battery plant and will break-ground next year.

This announcement comes after the community was crippled when General Motors shut down a facility that used to produce Chey Cruze sedans.

Officials say 11-hundred jobs will be available after the factory is built.
