Ozzy Osbourne wants bat boxes installed at his home in England to help with the animal's conservation.
The vocalist who bit the head of a bat 40 years ago, applied for permission to install the spaces at his multi-million pound listed home in Buckinghamshire.
Osbourne's bat bitting incident happened at a concert in 1982. He said he assumed the bat that was thrown on stage by an audience member was a toy because it wasn't moving until it was already in his mouth.
