Ohioans will be voting in November to decide if recreational marijuana should be legalized in the state.
Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose's office says the group The Coalition to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol turned in enough valid signatures to have the proposed petition put on the ballot.
If passed, those aged 21 years and older will be able to buy, sell and grow marijuana.
A recent Suffolk University poll found nearly 60% of Ohioans said they would support legalization.
Currently, only medical marijuana is legal in Ohio.
