A Texas cop swooped in to save a woman whose car was blocked inside her parking space by a giant python. The Police Department in Irving received a call this week from a woman who said the enormous snake was in between her and her car and desperately needed help.
Fortunately for the motorist, Officer Steve Burres, who’s been dubbed “the snake whisperer”, was on duty that day. Burres has a track record of capturing reptiles “in places they shouldn’t have been,” said the department. Bodycam footage shows the officer grabbing ahold of the slithery serpent before exclaiming, “He’s got an ungodly amount of teeth.” After capturing the 8-foot snake, officers called local wildlife protection officials who came to remove the giant reptile from the parking lot.
