For the second time this week, a major rock act is postponing the rest of its 2023 tour dates due to health issues.
Aerosmith announced on Friday they are postponing their current "Peace Out" farewell tour until 2024.
The band said in an official statement that lead singer Steven Tyler's vocal injury "is more serious than initially thought."
The statement added that not only are Tyler's vocal cords damaged, but his larynx is fractured.
Aerosmith's announcement comes just two days after Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band postponed the rest of this year's dates while "The Boss" is being treated for a peptic ulcer.
