Woman Dies Days After Making Possibly Record-Setting Skydive At 104

Dorothy Hoffner, a 104-year-old woman from Chicago, completed a tandem skydive and most likely broke a world record for the world’s oldest skydiverbeating the current record of 103 set by Linnea Ingegard Larsson of Sweden.

Unfortunately, Hoffner was found passed away Monday morning by staff at the senior living center she called home.

Work is underway to make sure she’s recognized posthumously for her achievement.
