Good Samaritan Saves Man Trapped Inside Building On Fire

Etna, Pennsylvania, resident Damian Komorofski is being hailed a hero for rescuing a man trapped inside a burning building. The fire broke out in a three-unit row home on Saturday night, with thick smoke filling the air. Komorofski, who lives nearby, saw the flames and heard cries for help. Without hesitation, he rushed into the building and managed to save a man who had Alzheimer's and was stuck upstairs.

Despite the dangerous conditions, Komorofski's courageous act ensured that everyone made it out safely. Other than two firefighters who were briefly hospitalized but later released, there were no injuries from the fire. Komorofski downplayed his actions, saying that he simply did what he could to help someone in need.

He’s also calling on the community to come together and support those affected by the fire, emphasizing the importance of helping those in need during difficult times. All of the building’s residents have been displaced by the fire, but the local Red Cross is currently providing them with assistance.
