This is a social media stunt that needs to be taken with a grain of salt.
On TikTok, a video was posted showing a man jumping in the lagoon at Disney’s EPCOT Center, supposedly to win a $60K bet.
There are two schools of thought on this one. If the post is legit, and the guy actually did get $60K, there are far worse ways to make that kind of cash.
If it’s a BS video and there was no money exchanged, then diving into any body of water in Florida without being sure there aren’t alligators nearby is colossally stupid…no matter how many clicks, likes, interactions, or publicity it gets you.
