The National Toy Hall of Fame has announced the induction of four new toys: baseball cards, Nerf toys, Cabbage Patch Kids, and the Fisher-Price Corn Popper.
These toys have been recognized for their enduring appeal and ability to provide various types of play for people of all ages.
The Hall of Fame, located at The Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York, showcases this year's winners and other iconic toys.
Over the years, a diverse range of toys, from the humble cardboard boxes to the ancient game of chess, have joined the prestigious Hall of Fame since its establishment in 1998.
Notably, Ken dolls were not included in this year's inductees, despite a surge in popularity fuelled by this summer’s “Barbie” movie.
